²² Their father Ephraim cried for them many days. And his family came to comfort him. ²³ Then he had intimate relations with his wife again. She became pregnant and gave birth to a son. Ephraim named his son Beriah^[a] because of the bad things that had happened to his family. ²⁴ Ephraim’s daughter was Sheerah. She built Lower Beth Horon and Upper Beth Horon and Uzzen Sheerah.
